• Ngātira Marae Bookings

    Pōwhiri or Whakatau on Ngātira Marae follow the kawa of Tū Mai, Tū Atu (taūtūtu). Every group new to Ngātira Marae is required (or strongly recommended) to have a pōwhiri or whakatau at the beginning of their stay; to adhere to local tikanga, kawa, and kaupapa. Please reach out if you require assistance to accommodate that requirement.

    We do take community bookings; and the marae is available to hire by the half day; or for a full day; & for overnight stays. The rates can vary according to the event.

    Non-refundable deposit required 5 days of receiving invoice and Full Payment is due 14 days prior to booking date.

    Damage

    All hirers must take responsibility for any damages incurred to the property, including both the buildings and surrounding grounds.

    Departure

    All guests are required to check out by 5pm on the day of departure, unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance with the Booking Team
